Perceptual Systems Programs

Perceptual Systems is a psychology subspecialty that looks at how information from a person's environment affects his or her thinking and behavior. The environmental information is actively selected, organized, interpreted, and sometimes distorted by a person's sensory perception system. Perceptual systems psychologists want to know why, how, and then, how best to respond.
